Miss Dianne

Dianne Stoffel is the owner of Dance Unlimited, but had taught at the studio since 1994 when it was Barbara Lynn's and then Footnotes. She began dancing at the age of five at Miss Bonnie's School of Dance in Del Rio, Texas. After moving to Buda, Miss Dianne took dance at Barbara Lynn's Dance Studio, became a Jack C. Hays Highstepper and served as an officer on the dance team for two years. Miss Dianne graduated cum laude from SWT in May of 1997 with a degree in Exercise Sports Science-Dance with secondary teacher's certification. Throughout her college years she continuously taught at Barbara Lynn's Dance Studio/Footnotes Dance Studio, while also teaching for Sunshine Generation Performing Group, Hermann Son's Dance in Lockhart and Children's World Learning Center. Miss Dianne has training in tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, gymnastics, Cecchetti, modern dance and Pointe and experience adjudicating regional dance competitions. Her business accomplishments include winning the Small Business of the Year Award, being nominated for the Business Person of the Year by the Buda Area Chamber of Commerce for 2004, being recognized for her outstanding contributions as a Hays County Woman Entrepreneur and being nominated for the Ambassador of the Year for the Buda Area Chamber of Commerce.  She continues her dance and business education while also raising her two amazing children, Kayla and Brenden.
Miss Erica

Erica Howie is one of our Dance Unlimited managers and instructors.  She started dancing at the age of 5 at Jackie's Performing Arts and continued throughout elementary school. During middle school she tried other performing arts but found her true love was dance and in high school joined the drill team and assisted teaching dance classes. She attended Texas State University and majored in Dance with teacher's certification. During college she was in the modern dance company Orchesis for 2 years and was a dancer and choreographer in 8 other dance concerts. She graduated with honors in May 2010 and has been working at Dance Unlimited since the fall of 2010. Miss Erica is trained in ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, gymnastics, and creative movement. 

Mr. Jake

 Jake Arredondo was born and raised in Kyle, TX. His passion for the arts began early when at age 10 his friends, family, and professionals introduced him to street hip hop at age 10. Five years later, Rauno and Christina Ilo trained Mr. Jake in some amazing Latin ballroom hip action. Then at 17, he danced ballet under the direction of Katherine Grote at the Point Dance Studio where he had the honor of dancing with the River City Dance Theater in productions such as “The Nutcracker” and “Graduation Ball.” From dancing in New York to Spain to Italy and now in Buda, Mr. Jake continues to grow as a dancer, graphic designer, musician, teacher, and arts aficionado. He also enjoys teaching and dancing Hip Hop, Jazz, Street Jazz, Salsa, Mambo, Cha-Cha, Sambo, Jive, and Flamenco. Currently, he is Dance Unlimited’s Operations Manager.

Miss Caty

Caty Costigan grew up in Buda, TX, and trained at Dance Unlimited from the age of 8 to 15 under the direction of Dianne Stoffel. There she studied Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Clogging, Lyrical, and competed in Tap, Jazz, and Lyrical. For the remaining years of high school, she went to Tapestry Dance Co. and studied under the acclaimed tap choreographer and teacher Jason Janas. She has a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Northern Colorado.
While she was in college, she auditioned for the non-profit adult repertoire dance company, Colorado Dance Collective. She was a member of their tap and hip hop company for 4 years, and eventually was elected co-captain. Here, she got to train under many guest choreographers and master teachers such as, Leslie Scott, Keith Clifton, and Gregg Russell. During her membership with the CDC, she had the opportunity to open and perform with acts such as iAmMe and Jabbawockeez. She currently resides in Kyle, TX and is ecstatic to teach dance for a living!

Miss Beth

Beth Bisett has taught dance for over 35 years and has been on staff
at Dance Unlimited since 1998. Beth grew up in Tyler, Texas where she
studied ballet, jazz, tap, and musical theatre under Utah Ground, teacher
and mentor to Tommy Tune and Sandy Duncan on their way to successful
careers on  Broadway. Miss Beth also studied and performed at TJC, TCU, Lon
Morris, SWTSU, and NWLSU. While at SWTSU, she received a best actress
nomination for her portrayal of "Peter Pan." Beth has acquired numerous
credits choreographing productions for SWTSU, San Marcos Children's
Theatre, San Marcos High School, and Alamo Heights High School, most
notably, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma, Carousel, Guys and Dolls, The
Music Man, and The Fantasticks (with 2007 Tony winner Julie White). Beth
is a certified instructor for Classical Stretch - The Esmonde Technique(as
seen on PBS).

Miss Shawn

Shawn Matesic-Dykes has been one of Dance Unlimited's leading preschool dance instructors since 1999. She started dancing when she was three years old at Barbara Lynn's Dance Studio. As she worked her way up she eventually became a member of the award winning Dance Etc. Dance Company in Oak Hill. In high school Miss Shawn was a Jack C. Hays Highstepper for two years. She has many years of studio, collegiate, and professional convention training in tap, ballet, Cecchetti, jazz, lyrical, modern, and Pointe. When she is not at the studio Miss Shawn is a professional hairstylist and loving mother of three. However, her love for teaching has made evident her amazing ability to give young children the gift of dance and music.
Miss Stephanie

Stephanie Galow has been teaching at Dance Unlimited since June 2006.  She has been dancing for 25+ years and has been a dance instructor since the age of 14.  Her training began at Taylor Dance Studio in Nederland, Texas, and continued at Amy Dufour's Dance Center and Cynde Lomonte's Dance Dimensions in Sugar Land, Texas. At Dance Dimensions, Stephanie won many top awards competing as a soloist and in small and large groups. She graduated from Dulles High School in 2004 and was on the Dulles Dolls Dance Team for 3 years. She had the honor to be Captain her senior year. On the dance team she received many awards as a soloist, and led her team to top awards in officer and large team divisions. Stephanie's training includes ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, novelty, gymnastics, cheer, and drill team. She graduated in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education and graduated in 2009 with her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, from Texas State University. Stephanie is currently teaching 2nd grade
at Negley Elementary. Stephanie has always had a passion for dance and is ecstatic to have the opportunity to inspire and teach her students.
Miss Laura

Laura Osborn joined the Dance Unlimited staff in 2010 & introduced our
new acrobatics program following the “Dance Masters of America” DMA method of
acrobatics, following it’s strict syllabus. She enjoys watching her acrobatics students excel so quickly through agility, strength, body awareness & beautiful skills, quickly giving themselves a sense of achievement. Miss Laura began formal dance training at Dancer's Workshop in Austin, Texas.
At age 12 she enrolled at American Dance Academy as a soloist with the Children's Dance Theatre of Austin participating in numerous competitions, formal performances & classical Ballets. She began
teaching at the age of 13 under the guidance of Linda Walters and Patricia Toth. To her credit are numerous awards for Acrobatics, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical and Tap. Her formal training was obtained and tested through the renowned Cecchetti Method of Ballet, spending summer length extensive workshops in Michigan. Miss Laura incorporates her various learned methods with those of her original instructor, a gifted former professional ballerina with the New York City Ballet.
Miss Laura taught at the former Pointe Dance Studio in San Marcos where she served as assistant
director of both the studio and River City Dance Theatre for over 10 years. Miss Laura views her gift as a great blessing & loves serving young dancers in this way. Miss Laura is married to her wonderful husband Todd, they have two beautiful children, Hunter & Kristyn.

Miss Rosie

Rosie Salazar has been dancing with Dance Unlimited since she was 4 years old. At the age of 11, she joined Dance Unlimited's competitive company and continued dancing competitively until graduating High School in 2013. While in High School, she was on the Lehman Cheer Squad where she competed at several cheer competitions around the Country. Miss Rosie is trained in genres such as ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical.  She now attends Texas State as a mass communication and electronic media major and continues to teach several dance and gymnastic classes as well as the DU Company. 
Miss Ana

Ana Delgado started dancing as a Kindergartner in Monterey, Mexico. She started at Dance Unlimited at seven years old and has been here ever since. She performed with our competitive teams for five years with experience in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Pointe. Additionally, she served as an assistant teacher here at the studio for three years before graduating in 2010. Miss Ana was the first student from Lehman High School to receive the St. David’s Neal Kocurek Scholarship. She earned her degree in Bilingual Education from Texas State University in 2015 and currently teaches 3rd grade at Hemphill Elementary.  
Miss Hannah

Hannah Hallmark has been dancing with us since she was 2 years old. She started out at Barbara Kay's School of Dance at the age of 2 and continued to dance when the studio became Footnotes and then Dance Unlimited. She was on our 3-D dance team for 9 years until she joined the high school drill team. Her senior year she was a Lieutenant on the Hays HighSteppers. Miss Hannah has training in ballet, tap, jazz, gymnastics, lyrical and drill team. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Radio-Television-Film with a minor in Business Foundations from The University of Texas. In 2014, she moved to Los Angeles where she worked for several production companies.  She is very excited to share her love of dance with the next generation! 
Mr. Dylan

Dylan Adams has danced for over 12 years in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and more. He is now transitioning from a competitor to a choreographer and just finished his first year of teaching at Dance Unlimited. Currently attending Texas State University, Mr. Dylan specializes in Tap, the style for which he is known and recognized in as a National Title holder for two years in a row. He has also received multiple scholarships awarded by the various dance conventions the studio’s teams, partners, and soloists participate in each year. Having learned how to truly enjoy dance here at Dance Unlimited, he continually pays it forward by eagerly sharing his passion and knowledge of Tap to his students.

Miss Erica Lyn

Erica Lyn is from San Antonio, TX and holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography from the California Institute of the arts, Valencia, California. Upon graduation Miss Erica Lyn began working extensively with award winning choreographer Janet Rosten as a performer and assistant choreographer. She also danced with the No Strings Attached Dance Theater, directed by Lissa Resnick, JADD Co. Directed by Joseph Decker and the Datugan Dance Theater, directed by Ken Datugan. Erica co-produced, co-choreographed and performed in "Praznik: An Evening of Bulgarian vocal music and contemporary dance" at the Lund Theater. Internationally she has performed at the "Cita con la Danza" dance festival in Benicassim, Spain, with choreographers Roger Jeffery and Juan Borona. Erica has found her way back to Texas and is currently dancing with the Andrea Torres Dance company and working as an independent dance artist with various Austin choreographers. She has been teaching dance for 13 years in both Texas and California and continues to share her passion for the arts with others. She also has her Pilates certification from the Sheppard Method, taught by master teacher Risa Sheppard in Los Angeles, California. It is Erica's goal to help facilitate an environment that supports physical awareness of one's self and creative growth, so that we may come to understand our own power within giving us the strength and understanding to move forward positively in our lives, both spiritually and artistically.
Miss Roxy

Roxy Garza has been dancing since 1989. As a young girl she took dance and gymnastics and in high school she was a cheerleader and on the drill team, the Hays Highsteppers. Her senior year she made officer and won third place for her jazz solo. After graduation, Miss Roxy then took adult classes at Dance Unlimited ranging from pointe, jazz, tap, and hip hop. She is now a teacher at Dance Unlimited. Miss Roxy taught gymnastics, adult aerobics, and subbed baby classes, and has help out with our company teams. She attended many dance conventions as a dancer and teacher. Miss Roxy is happily married to her husband Alex and is now a mother of 3 beautiful children. She loves the Hays community and her passion for dance is what brought her back! Miss Roxy teaches preschool age children at Abiding Love CCC. She maintains 24 hours of continuing child development training every year. Her children are apart of the recreational and competitive part of Dance Unlimited. Miss Roxy enjoys watching children of all ages grow a love for dance.

Miss Cindy

Cindy Jones has danced her heart out since the age of 3. She started out at Lisa’s Dance Center in Arlington, TX for 9 years and moved to Dancer’s Workshop for an additional 2 years. She continued dancing for the Martin High School Sundancer’s Drill Team where she was Captain her senior year. She went on to dance competitively for McLennan Community College in Waco, TX where she was a Lieutenant and won a National Title. Cindy then graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Interior Design. While in Lubbuck, she coached numerous cheer and dance teams at Extreme Cheer & Dance and later Raider Xtreme. When she is not in the studio she is a wife and a mother of two kids. Cindy is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, cheer, and drill team.

Miss Kayla

Kayla Duley has been dancing at Dance Unlimited since she was 18 months old. For 12 years, she has been a part of many Dance Unlimited competitive teams. She is currently a senior at Hays High School and has been a part of the Hays High School High Steppers for four years and the Elite team for two years. Kayla has studied many styles of dance including Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Gymnastics, and Acrobatics. She began assisting classes in 2011 and began teaching in 2015. She looks forward to sharing her love of dance to the future generations!!   
Miss Erin

Erin Polasek started dancing at the age of 
nine years old in Tap, Ballet, and Jazz. After two years, she joined the Dance Unlimited 3D team where she was a part of the Darlings, Dimensions and Divas. After spending five years on team she moved on to become a member of Xteam and Acroteam. Erin is currently a four year member of the Hays High Steppers, a three year member of the Hays High Stepper Elites and continues to compete solo dances with Dance Unlimited. She has won many awards individually and with teams. She is experienced in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Gymnastics, Cheerleading, and Kick. Erin was crowned Dance Unlimited’s Dancer of the Year at Tremaine Convention in 2014. Then in 2016, she was awarded a full scholarship to the Dance Directive convention at Talent on Parade. Miss Erin is very excited to share her knowledge and passion with young dancers!       
Miss Trish

Trish Durham is a San Marcos native. She was a member of the San Marcos High School Diamond Line and was elected captain her senior year. Upon high school graduation, Trish received a full academic scholarship to The University of Texas at Austin. While attending UT, Trish founded the performance group Texas Talent and was a member and choreographer for the University's competitive team, Texas Dance. During her senior year, Texas Dance placed 7th nationally at NDA.
After earning her BA in Dance and certificate in Business Foundations (McCombs School of Business), Trish became a dancer for the greatest organization in the league: Spurs Sports & Entertainment. The San Antonio Spurs won the championship during her tenure as a Silver Dancer, and she was fortunate enough to earn herself an NBA World Championship ring.
Trish directed dance at a high school in Sugar Land, Texas for the past two years, but she is overjoyed to be back at Dance Unlimited with the instructors, parents, and dancers she loves most!

Miss Gina

Miss Gina Reese's first of three dancers enrolled at Dance Unlimited in 1998. Having many years of experience with Dance Unlimited she transitioned to the Office Manager position in 2005. Miss Gina has a strong background as an Office Manager and Bookkeeper.
